ABOUT YANKEE RIDGE ELEMENTARY
Yankee Ridge Elementary School is one of six neighborhood schools serving the students in kindergarten through fifth grade in Urbana, Illinois. Yankee Ridge was remodeled in 2018 to provide students with a fresh and innovative learning environment. A shining star in the Urbana community, Yankee Ridge is proud to offer the district’s only French Dual Language program.
Family Engagement at Yankee Ridge
All families are encouraged to actively participate in their student’s learning and to engage in school and PTA sponsored school events. We are happy to welcome all families within our school community. There are many opportunities for parents to be involved and learn about Yankee Ridge Elementary School whether through our volunteer program or open-door classroom policy.
